Marine insurance broker Northern Lloyd expands internationally. The Northern Lloyd Group grows by opening two new offices in Athens and Abu Dhabi. Both Greece and the Middle East are important markets for Northern Lloyd and an office presence in both locations allows the company to respond promptly to the specific needs of its clients. Northern Lloyd already looks after its clients comprehensively in both locations by offering placing of risks as well as claims handling. The two new offices will be headed by two experienced brokers: Panayiotis Sourmelis in Athens and Ayad Saab in Abu Dhabi.
The Northern Lloyd Group now spans four locations: Bremen, Limassol, Athens and Abu Dhabi. “The new openings are the logical consequence of our international growth strategy”, explains Northern Lloyd’s managing owner Stefan Gläbe. “Our international presence allows us to look after our clients in the best way possible.” Gläbe is optimistic about the future: “We very much look forward to working closely with our clients and business partners in Greece and the Middle East. Proximity to the client is our top priority. The opening of further offices will live up to this in the coming years.”
