SEA.AI & Oneberry advancing Maritime Security in Southeast Asia

Partnership combines SEA.AI’s machine vision technology, integrated with Oneberry’s security expertise and off-grid surveillance capabilities to enhance maritime domain awareness.
Oneberry Technologies and SEA.AI have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, formalising a strategic collaboration to integrate their respective technologies and pursue maritime security and surveillance opportunities across Southeast Asia.
The collaboration will focus on integrating SEA.AI’s electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) machine vision with Oneberry’s security and surveillance solutions to address evolving maritime security requirements across the region

SEA.AI’s systems combine electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) cameras with AI processing at the edge to detect, classify and track objects on the water in real time, day and night. These include small craft, people in the water and vessels operating without AIS that can be difficult to detect by radar or visual observation alone. For coastal surveillance and critical infrastructure protection, the technology provides security operators with earlier warning of potential threats and enhanced situational awareness.
A key area of collaboration will be off-grid maritime surveillance, integrating surveillance and AI technologies with SFC EFOY Pro fuel cells to support deployments in remote locations and environments where access to conventional grid power may be limited or impractical.
The collaboration builds upon a Proof of Concept completed by Oneberry and SEA.AI in April this year, providing a foundation for further solution integration, demonstrations, POCs and commercial opportunities in Southeast Asia.
Collaboration Through Oneberry’s 5 Dot Zero Innovation Space
The MOU also reflects the vision behind Oneberry’s 5 Dot Zero innovation space, which was established to bring together innovative technology players and create opportunities for collaboration, solution integration and market development.
Through 5 Dot Zero, Oneberry aims to connect innovative technologies from around the world with its own capabilities, industry experience and regional market knowledge, creating a platform for technologies to be demonstrated, integrated and brought to market in Southeast Asia.
The Oneberry-SEA.AI collaboration is intended to demonstrate this approach in practice, bringing together SEA.AI’s AI-enabled EO/IR sensing, Oneberry’s integrated security capabilities and complementary technologies such as off-grid power solutions to address operational requirements in the region
“Our collaboration with Oneberry brings together complementary strengths and a shared commitment to using technology to address the evolving requirements of maritime security. Oneberry’s integration experience, strong market presence and government-sector track record provide an excellent foundation for bringing our maritime machine vision capabilities to customers in Southeast Asia.
We also see tremendous value in the collaborative environment created through 5 Dot Zero. It provides a platform where technologies and industry expertise can come together around real customer requirements. By working closely with Oneberry, we look forward to creating strong mutual value and expanding the reach of integrated maritime security solutions across the region.”
Marcus Warrelmann, CEO, SEA.AI
“5 Dot Zero represents our belief that the next generation of security solutions will be created through collaboration. We want to bring innovative technology players from around the world together, integrate complementary capabilities and create a practical pathway for these technologies to reach customers across Southeast Asia.
Our collaboration with SEA.AI is a strong example of this vision. Maritime security is increasingly important for our region, and by combining SEA.AI’s maritime technology with Oneberry’s integration capabilities, our strong track record in the government sector and technologies such as SFC EFOY Pro fuel cells for off-grid deployment, we believe we can bring compelling new solutions to the market. More importantly, the collaboration creates mutual opportunities for both companies to build on our respective strengths and grow together in the region.”
Ken Pereira, CEO of Oneberry Technologies
Addressing Southeast Asia’s Maritime Security Requirements
Through the collaboration, Oneberry and SEA.AI intend to pursue opportunities in areas including:
- AI-enabled maritime surveillance;
- coastal, waterfront and critical maritime infrastructure monitoring;
- remote and off-grid surveillance;
- integrated EO/IR camera, AI and sensor solutions;
- maritime situational awareness;
- POCs and technology demonstrations; and
- integrated solutions for government and commercial maritime environments.
Oneberry brings its experience in delivering technology-enabled security solutions and serving the government sector, while SEA.AI contributes its EO/IR machine vision technology to complete the maritime domain awareness (MDA) picture.
Together, the companies aim to develop stronger integrated offerings suited to the operational environments and security requirements of Southeast Asia.
A Platform for Innovation and Regional Growth
The collaboration is aligned with Oneberry’s broader vision for 5 Dot Zero as an innovation platform that enables technology companies to collaborate, integrate and connect their capabilities with opportunities in Southeast Asia.
By combining international innovation with local integration capabilities, market knowledge and customer engagement, Oneberry aims to help technology partners establish practical pathways from innovation and demonstration to real-world deployment and commercialisation.
The Oneberry-SEA.AI collaboration represents this model in action, bringing together maritime AI, integrated surveillance and resilient off-grid technologies to support the next generation of maritime security solutions for the region.
