MSC Cruises has announced that its newest flagship, MSC World Asia, will feature the renowned Eataly restaurant on board, bringing an authentic Italian dining experience to guests sailing the Mediterranean starting this December.
The partnership with Eataly reflects MSC Cruises’ ongoing commitment to enriching its onboard offering through collaborations with leading experts and world-renowned brands.
MSC World Asia will cater to every taste and temptation when she begins sailing the Mediterranean from 4 December 2026.
The flagship will offer more than 40 bars, lounges, cafés and restaurants with many concepts developed in collaboration with world-class, award-winning culinary partners, ensuring a diverse and authentic gastronomic journey.
MSC World Asia will become the second ship in the MSC Cruises fleet to feature Eataly at sea, following the successful debut of the concept on MSC World America.
As the only cruise line to feature Eataly at sea, the partnership brings together MSC Cruises’ strong European heritage with Eataly’s globally recognised celebration of Italian gastronomy.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises said: “Exceptional food and hospitality are at the heart of the experience we create for our guests. Partnering with Eataly allows us to bring a renowned culinary brand to sea, offering guests an authentic dining experience that showcases the quality, tradition and passion that define Italian cuisine. Following the successful debut of Eataly onboard MSC World America, we look forward to bringing our guests in the Mediterranean a unique dining experience with an artfully created menu reflecting the global nature of MSC Cruises.”
The world-famous Italian culinary destination will embody MSC Cruises’ values of warmth and hospitality while bringing an authentic taste of Italy to sea.
The restaurant will offer a contemporary dining experience shaped by Italian tradition and MSC Cruises’ heritage, with elegant design, an inviting ambience and a menu highlighting regional specialties and classic Italian dishes prepared with outstanding ingredients.
Show cooking will be central to the experience, with a dedicated table chef offering guests an intimate encounter with Italian culinary craftsmanship. Guests will also be able to dine on the restaurant’s terrace with ocean views, while wine enthusiasts can enjoy a personalised visit to the wine cellar at The Terrace Bar to select their own bottle.
MSC World Asia will sail seven-night itineraries to some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta, and is available to book with multiple embarkation ports.
