Condé Nast Traveler Readers name Viking #1 for Rivers and #1 for Oceans for sixth consecutive year

Viking Celebrates Six Years at the Top of the Readers’ Choice Awards
Viking® has once again been voted #1 for Rivers and #1 for Oceans by Condé Nast Traveler in the publication’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. This marks the sixth consecutive year Viking has been rated at the top of both the river and ocean categories.
“We are honored to once again be recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as #1 for Rivers and #1 for Oceans,” said Leah Talactac, President and CEO of Viking. “To be recognized as #1 in both categories six years in a row is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Viking family. We are grateful to our guests for their trust and support and proud that our commitment to enriching, destination-focused experiences continues to resonate with curious travelers.”
Today’s recognition is the latest in a series of honors for Viking. In addition to the awards from Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure, Viking was recently named to TIME’s 2026 TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, which highlights organizations making an extraordinary impact around the world. The Viking Vesta® was also named to Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Hot List. Additional accolades include Viking ranking #1 in seven categories in USA TODAY 10BEST 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards and earning top honors from Southern Living for both its river and ocean voyages in the publication’s 2026 cruise rankings.
