Doosan Enerbility held a shipment ceremony at its headquarters in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, on Oct. 6 for a 380MW-class gas turbine  to be supplied to U.S. artificial intelligence  company SpaceXAI.

Around 70 Doosan Enerbility executives and employees, including Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Services BG, and key officials from the client SpaceXAI, attended the event held at the gas turbine assembly plant at the Changwon headquarters. The attendees observed the gas turbine shipment on-site, toured the overall production line at the Changwon plant, and inspected the manufacturing process.

At a meeting held after the shipment ceremony, executives from both companies gathered to discuss in depth plans to expand the gas turbine business in the future. As Doosan Enerbility shipped the product after satisfying all the stringent technical specifications required by global big tech companies, it expects this case to lead to further expansion of business opportunities.

Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Services BG, stated, “By entering the supply chain of a world-class AI enterprise, we have proven the technological prowess and quality of South Korea’s gas turbines.”
