Hiab announces next-generation ProCare™ lifecycle services to help customers maximise uptime, productivity and fleet value

An intelligence-driven lifecycle solution combining service, connectivity and data to reduce total cost of ownership and make equipment performance more predictable
Hiab, a leading provider of smart and sustainable load handling solutions, today announces the next generation of its ProCare™ lifecycle services portfolio, designed to help fleet owners keep equipment working, control lifecycle costs and get more value from every asset.
The renewed ProCare portfolio combines proven maintenance expertise with smart connectivity, data-driven insights and digital services in one integrated lifecycle solution. Customers can choose from three streamlined agreement levels – Standard, Plus and Premium – designed to match different operational needs while providing greater predictability around maintenance, costs and equipment availability.
For fleet owners, the ambition is simple: less unplanned downtime, better equipment utilisation and greater control over the total cost of ownership.
Turning equipment data into business value
A key differentiator of the renewed ProCare portfolio is Hiab’s ability to combine connected equipment, service expertise and data to identify opportunities to improve fleet performance. Today, more than 50,000 connected assets and over a million completed service visits provide Hiab with a broad foundation of equipment and service intelligence. Hiab is using this experience and connectivity to develop more proactive, insight-driven services that help customers move from reactive maintenance towards more predictable fleet management.
The renewed portfolio includes:
- Comprehensive insights platform: Visibility into equipment performance, full service reporting and support services, helping customers make informed maintenance and fleet decisions. API access enables integration to customers’ own systems.
- Intelligent remote diagnostics: A secure, two-way connection between the equipment operator and Hiab helps identify and resolve issues remotely, supporting faster response and reduced downtime.
- Real-time remote monitoring: Hiab experts proactively monitor connected assets to identify potential safety, reliability and productivity risks, with clear, actionable alerts. Alert categories span both rule-based criteria and AI-driven predictive insights.
“Lifetime care of Hiab equipment should be as simple and easy as possible, while delivering clear business value for our customers,” says Maria Lindroos, VP Lifecycle Services at Hiab. “With the next generation of ProCare, we are combining our service expertise, connected equipment and data to help customers increase equipment availability, make lifecycle costs more predictable and get more productivity from their fleets.”
From maintenance cost to productivity driver
The renewed ProCare portfolio reflects Hiab’s ambition to move lifecycle services beyond traditional maintenance. By combining physical service with connectivity, data and human expertise, Hiab can help customers protect their investment, improve operational performance and plan with greater confidence.
A phased global rollout of the renewed ProCare Service Agreements portfolio starts in Q4 2026.
