TOWII Renewables’ two wind farms Kopsa III and Ketunperä in Finnish North Ostrobothnia comprise six wind turbines each, providing a total capacity of approximately 74.4 MW.

According to TOWII Renewables, Gasum was selected following a competitive process in which the company evaluated not only the commercial terms for balance responsibility, but also the capabilities needed to support the projects in the increasingly dynamic Finnish power market. Gasum’s strong trading and optimization capabilities, market access and the ability to continuously develop the operational setup were an important part of the company’s decision.

TOWII Renewables is a joint venture between the Danish EWII energy group and Tokyo Gas and was founded in 2022. The company’s ambition is to develop sustainable energy projects in Denmark as well as internationally.

Gasum captures value for customers in changing power markets
