• Valenciaport’s IT and telematics platform automates the generation of the Electronic Administrative Control Document (DeCA) based on the Unified Transport Document (DUT)

 The Port Authority of València  has introduced a new update to its ValenciaportPCS platform, enabling users, since Octobre 5, to generate the Electronic Administrative Control Document, making it easier to comply with the new transport regulations in an agile and centralised manner. 

The key added value of this update lies in automation. As well as allowing the DeCA to be entered manually, ValenciaportPCS will enable this document to be generated directly from a Unified Transport Document (DUT). This integration eliminates the need to enter data twice, streamlining the logistics process and avoiding the usual human errors that occur during data entry. 

Once generated, the DeCA is accessible to all parties involved from the moment it is activated. In addition, the document is published in a public repository that can be quickly accessed by scanning a QR code. 

With this new development, Contractual Shippers and Actual Carriers now have a shared environment within ValenciaportPCS where they can manage, share and consult their DeCAs with full transparency and security.
