IMPA Events creates new partnership with Marketing in Maritime to deliver enhanced experience for delegates

IMPA Events and Marketing in Maritime have joined forces to deliver an enhanced delegate experience across the IMPA Events series, combining their communities to strengthen commercial impact and engagement.
Launching at IMPA London 2026 this week, the Marketing in Maritime team is greeting exhibitors and visitors alike to begin shaping the partnership programme offering. With 20-30% of B2B marketing budgets dedicated to events, this is a crucial partnership to ensure organisations participating at IMPA fully benefit from their on-site presence and secure a strong return on investment.
IMPA London 2026 is marking the formal launch of the partnership, providing an opportunity for members of both organisations to share their ambitions, challenges and ideas as the programme takes shape. As part of the launch, Marketing in Maritime has invited its MiMbers to attend the two-day exhibition and networking cocktail reception as guests of IMPA London, free of charge.
Celebrating over 45 years of events, IMPA has grown to become one of the leading global associations for maritime supply chain development and innovation. Marketing in Maritime is a specialist learning and networking community aiming to elevate marketing to a strategic and commercially influential force in maritime, so the both organisations exist to foster collaboration in maritime and to be an industry voice for their members.
Beyond the commercial strengths that Marketing in Maritime will bring to the partnership – the introduction of dedicated training and resources for IMPA delegates – the team will also introduce its ever-growing #MiMCrowd to new networking opportunities.
Paul Skinner, Commercial and Content Manager, International Marine Purchasing Association, explains, “We are very excited to form this partnership with MiM, and we look forward to working together to help their members understand how collaborating with one of the industry’s leading associations can extend their reach across the maritime sector both via our events and publications.
“IMPA members will benefit greatly from being part of the vibrant MIM community, giving them the opportunity to network, share knowledge, and draw on the experience and expertise of other like minded maritime marketers. This partnership brings two influential communities together, creating new pathways for learning, collaboration, and industry advancement.”
IMPA Events and Marketing in Maritime share a common goal: helping maritime professionals and businesses achieve better outcomes through collaboration, knowledge-sharing and industry engagement. Procurement and marketing teams often face similar challenges, with both playing critical roles in driving business performance while not always receiving the visibility associated with customer-facing functions. By combining their expertise and communities, the partnership will deliver greater value for exhibitors, delegates and members, while helping organisations turn stronger industry connections into commercial results.
Kae-Ley Brann, MiM Business Manager says, “IMPA has built one of the maritime industry’s most respected event portfolios and community networks. By combining that reach with Marketing in Maritime’s expertise and growing community of maritime marketers, we have an opportunity to help businesses generate greater value from their event participation, strengthen industry connections and raise the profile of marketing as a driver of commercial growth. We’re excited to hear directly from delegates and exhibitors as we shape the next phase of the partnership together.”
