The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC) successfully organised, once again, its annual Charity Beach Volley Tournament, which took place on 5, 6 and 13 September at the Limassol Municipality Beach Sports Centre.

This year’s tournament brought together 23 Member-Companies of the Chamber, whose participation helped raise funds in support of the “One Dream – One Wish” Association, to which the Chamber has been donating the proceeds of the tournament for the past 30 years, marking a total contribution of over €300,000 throughout its years of support. The Association supports children suffering from cancer and related diseases, making the tournament a long-standing initiative of both sporting and social significance.

Over the years, the CSC Charity Beach Volley Tournament has become a well-established event within the Cyprus Shipping community, bringing together employees of its Member-Companies in a spirit of teamwork. Beyond the sporting competition, the tournament reflects the industry’s strong commitment to social responsibility and to supporting causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The Chamber expresses its sincere appreciation to the Cyprus Volleyball Federation, the Cyprus Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Referees Association, and the Limassol Municipality for their valuable support in making the tournament possible. The Chamber also extends its warm thanks to all participating Member-Companies and their employees, whose continued support, enthusiasm and active participation contribute to the success of this important initiative year after year.
