TrustPoint Partners with EnduroSat US to Build 40 Satellites, Scaling Its GPS-Independent PNT Constellation

Partnership with NASA- and ESA-trusted manufacturer EnduroSat US moves TrustPoint to constellation-scale production, with satellites delivered in three tranches
TrustPoint, the world leader in C-band GNSS building the most advanced satellite navigation system in low earth orbit, today announced a contract award with EnduroSat US to build 40 satellites for its GPS-independent positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) constellation. The satellites will be delivered in three tranches, moving TrustPoint from demonstrated on-orbit flight heritage to constellation-scale deployment.
TrustPoint has already launched and operated free-flying satellites carrying its C-band GNSS payload, establishing the flight heritage this expansion builds on. The partnership with EnduroSat US advances that foundation into full rate production, leveraging their proven commercial spacecraft bus, and is the next step in executing TrustPoint’s business plan: Delivering the world’s most resilient commercial PNT system does not require multi-billion dollar bespoke satellite constellations.
Today’s mature and highly diversified commercial satellite bus industrial base exists specifically to support constellation operators who need to deploy fast, and TrustPoint has structured its production around that commodified ecosystem rather than around vertically integrated hardware development. EnduroSat, founded for volume production and trusted by NASA, ESA and hundreds of commercial, university and research customers, gives TrustPoint the speed and scale it needs to deliver the next 40 satellites quickly and meet a demanding commercial and government backlog.
“The satellites we continue launching today reinforce that our C-band architecture works. Our partnership with EnduroSat will prove it can work at volume,” said William Vincent, Director of Space Systems at TrustPoint. “EnduroSat has an outstanding reputation building satellites at the scale and speed our roadmap requires, and that lets us stay focused on meeting our customers’ resilient PNT needs.”
“PNT is critical infrastructure, and critical infrastructure cannot depend on a single system,” said Raycho Raychev, Founder & CEO of EnduroSat. “We could not be more proud to partner with TrustPoint and support the rapid scaling of the constellation that resolves that dependency.”
Delivering the 40 satellites in three tranches lets TrustPoint bring capacity online progressively, applying lessons from each tranche to the next. It is the same capital-efficient, iterate-fast model the company has used since its first satellite launch, now applied at constellation scale.
“The demand we’re seeing for resilient precision PNT isn’t ordinary market demand, it’s urgent, and for some users, existential,” said Patrick Shannon, Founder and CEO of TrustPoint. “Speed matters. It’s why we’re partnering with EnduroSat, and it’s how we deliver this capability on a timeline vertical integration could never match.”
The partnership is the latest step in TrustPoint’s build-out of a GPS-independent PNT layer for commercial and national security users operating in contested, degraded and denied environments. It builds on a foundation of world-first milestones, including the first live-sky transmission and real-time reception of a C-band GNSS signal, the first C-band ground-to-space PNT demonstration and the successful launch and operation of three commercial free-flying GNSS satellites. TrustPoint has since demonstrated its C-band signals operating through GNSS interference on an established commercial receiver platform, in partnership with Hexagon, and continues to advance the technology under contracts with the U.S. Space Force, Air Force, and Navy, including a Space Force TACFI award to field a four-satellite, four-ground-station GPS-independent PNT system.
