Andreas Papachristophorou, Maritime Commercial & AI Consultant

Andreas Papachristophorou, a long-standing Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and current Treasurer of its Cyprus Branch, has over two decades of senior commercial leadership spanning comprehensive in-house cruise operations — across sales, operations, finance, technical, legal, and business development functions — at Louis Cruises and Celestyal Cruises, alongside cruise ship chartering activity across multiple markets and geographies. He also brings hands-on shipmanagement experience from his time at BSM Cruise Services (Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement) in Hamburg, where he contributed to commercial strategy and EU ETS/FuelEU compliance implementation.

He is now applying this commercial, finance, and business intelligence expertise to AI consulting, focused on practical use cases such as crew-change workflows, compliance reporting, and commercial analytics — exploring how AI-based assistants and automation can support people and new project development in maritime business, improving efficiency while staying mindful of GDPR and the evolving EU AI Act.
