Saipem awarded a new contract in Türkiye for the client GOE Petrol Sanayi

Saipem has been awarded a new contract by GOE Petrol Sanayi for the Commissioning Services of the Osman Gazi Floating Production Unit (FPU), intended for the development of the Sakarya gas field in the Turkish Black Sea.
The award follows the Operation Readiness & Assurance support services contract granted to Saipem in April 2026 and further strengthens the company’s involvement in one of the most significant energy projects currently under development in Türkiye. The Sakarya field, discovered in August 2020 and developed by Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), is located approximately 170 kilometres offshore in the Black Sea, at a water depth of around 2,150 metres. It represents one of the country’s most significant natural gas discoveries in recent years.
The scope of work awarded to Saipem, with an expected duration of approximately eight months, will be executed in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards, leveraging the company’s distinctive expertise in the commissioning of complex energy facilities.
This new award contributes to strengthening Saipem’s presence in the Turkish market.
