Intellian Technologies, a leading global provider of satellite communication antennas and ground gateway solutions, is presenting its comprehensive suite of commercial maritime, dual-use, and military communications technologies as SMM 2026 opens today in Hamburg (Hall B6, Stand B6.317).

In satellite innovation, Intellian is showcasing its fast-selling OneWeb LEO maritime portfolio of Flat Panels, which are driving mass adoption of LEO-LEO architectures for operators requiring high bandwidth, low latency, and a small form factor. Beyond standalone LEO, these flat panels also serve as the low-latency LEO engine for Inmarsat’s multi-orbit hybrid solution, NexusWave. Delivering a GEO component of this ecosystem, Intellian is exhibiting its new VS60 – the market’s only 65cm maritime terminal for the ultra-high-capacity ViaSat-3 constellation. Intellian is the only antenna manufacturer supplying hardware across the entire NexusWave spectrum, enabling a bonded multi-band, multi-orbit service for ultimate hybrid fleet connectivity.

Addressing a critical safety regulatory framework designed to protect the world’s 1.9 million seafarers, GMDSS compliance is mandatory for an estimated 80,000+ vessels worldwide. Intellian is highlighting its complete Iridium Certus® GMDSS range as the world’s only manufacturer to offer a dedicated terminal for every Iridium Certus service tier. On display are the MED Wheelmark-approved C200M and C100M systems, alongside the European debut of Intellian’s new GMDSS Console. Factory-assembled, pre-wired, and fully tested, the console streamlines shipyard installation for Iridium GMDSS Systems alongside Intellian’s VHF, MF/HF Class A radios, and Navtex systems, which are being previewed at SMM ahead of commercial availability later this year.

Supporting expanding military and government requirements, Intellian is displaying dual-use LEO solutions including the OW11FM and OW10HM Maritime Flat Panel Series, alongside the lightweight OW7MP Manpack Antenna for portable COTP/COTM operations. Underlining its strategic focus on dual-use commercial technologies, Intellian will also be participating in the panel session “Maritime Industry to Defence Capability: Dual-Use as a Growth Opportunity for Established Maritime Companies” on September 2, 2026, from 11:30–12:30 at the SMM Hamburg Naval Stage.
