Bazeport scores Premier League highlights at sea

August 31, 2026

Bazeport, a leading maritime media platform serving crews worldwide,  announced it will launch official Premier League highlights on 27 August 2026, through a sublicensing agreement with global sports marketing agency, IMG.

The agreement will bring fans at sea 10 x 30-minute highlights covering every match of the 2026/27 Premier League season, every week. The ad-free package features original English commentary and will be available on deepsea vessels, supply ships and floating oil units running Bazeport worldwide, excluding the national waters of the UK and Ireland.

As part of the launch, vessels with an active Basic or Premium entertainment subscription through Bazeport on launch day will be able to receive the new Premier League highlights package free of charge, as a loyalty bonus. Vessels without an active entertainment subscription will be able to subscribe for a monthly fee (to be announced).

“Life at sea can mean months away from home, and the small things — following your team, catching the big match — matter more than people realize. This launch is about bringing that piece of home to every deepsea vessel, supply ship and floating oil unit we serve. It’s also just the beginning: Premier League highlights are our first step into sports, and we intend to keep building out premium sports and entertainment for the maritime market in the years ahead,” said Thorstein Rinker, Chief Sales Officer at Bazeport.

The Premier League is the most-watched football league in the world, broadcast to an estimated 189 countries and around 900 million homes, with approximately 1.87 billion people engaging with its content at least weekly. Clubs including Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, along with the league’s global roster of star players, have made the Premier League one of the world’s most closely followed sporting competitions.

Marketing activities for the launch have now begun, with further details on pricing and availability to follow.
