MSC Cruises revises Winter 2027/2028 deployment

- Guest favorite MSC World Europa to remain in the Western Mediterranean
- New flagship, MSC World Asia, elevates South Caribbean offering
MSC Cruises announced updates for the Winter 2027/2028 season, enriching deployment in key regions – the Western Mediterranean and South Caribbean.
MSC World Europa will sail in the Western Mediterranean – Originally scheduled to sail in the Middle East, MSC World Europa will continue to offer seven-night itineraries in the western Mediterranean, with multiple embarkation ports for easy access.
The ship will call to the most sought-after destinations in the region, offering a mix of iconic coastlines and exciting cities including Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Genoa (Italy), Civitavecchia (Italy), Messina (Italy) and Valletta (Malta).
MSC World Europa offers a feature-rich guest experience with a wide choice of dining, entertainment, family facilities and indoor and outdoor spaces, including the open-air World Promenade, the striking World Galleria, multiple speciality restaurants, lounges and bars, as well as activities and venues for guests of all ages, making her ideally suited to Mediterranean winter sailings, calling at the region’s most sought-after destinations.

MSC World Asia will sail in the South Caribbean – The ship will operate 7- and 14-night itineraries with embarkation in Fort-de-France (Martinique), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), and Bridgetown (Barbados).
The itineraries call some of the most beautiful and authentic destinations in the region including Castries (Saint Lucia), St. George’s (Grenada), Philipsburg (St. Maarten), St. John’s (Antigua and Barbuda), Basseterre (Saint Kitts and Nevis), Roseau (Dominica), and Kingstown (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines).
As MSC Cruises’ new flagship, MSC World Asia will bring incredible experiences to the South Caribbean including the Cliffhanger over-water swing thrill ride, the largest Venchi chocolate experience at sea, standout family attractions, vibrant entertainment venues and expansive open-air areas perfect for warm-weather cruising.
Guests booked on MSC World Europa in the Middle East for Winter 2027/2028 and their travel partners are being contacted directly and provided with clear, comprehensive information regarding their options, including the possibility to move their booking to another sailing or request a full refund.
Guests booked on MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean or MSC Meraviglia in the South Caribbean for Winter 2027/2028 will see their bookings updated and will be contacted directly about any individual changes.
