The two-day maritime conference will be held at Copenhagen’s AC Bella Sky Convention Center on 23-24 February 2027.

World Maritime Forum 2027 is set to return to Copenhagen for a two-day gathering at the AC Bella Sky Convention Center. Organised by IGGS Group, the event will bring together shipowners, ship managers, shipbuilders, ports, authorities, maritime suppliers and service providers. It comes at a time when the industry is facing increasingly urgent decisions concerning fleet investment, operational resilience, workforce capabilities and the transition from digital pilot projects to practical implementation.

The forum expects to welcome 800 attendees, 70 speakers and 50 exhibitors, including more than 300 buyers. Participants are anticipated from fleet, project, procurement and technical management, alongside professionals responsible for sustainability, crewing, port operations, finance and IT. This diverse audience reflects the fact that today’s vessel-related decisions increasingly involve multiple departments, budgets and shore-based systems.

The 2027 programme will feature new speakers representing established shipping companies, ports and prominent maritime organisations. Drawing on current operational experience, they will provide first-hand perspectives on fleet investment, port priorities, cyber risk, AI adoption, vessel efficiency and the evolving needs of the maritime workforce.

Twelve new panel discussions and two on-stage conversations will address the major choices facing maritime businesses and examine where investment could be directed in the years ahead. The agenda will cover IMO measures, EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime, alternative fuels and bunkering infrastructure, retrofit performance, transition finance, sanctions and shadow-fleet risks, cyber and GNSS security, crew skills, artificial intelligence, vessel design, and remote and autonomous operations. Collectively, the sessions will connect regulatory and operational challenges with investment decisions involving fleets, ports, infrastructure, people and technology.

Located alongside the conference, the exhibition area will give delegates an opportunity to explore suppliers’ products, services, capabilities and emerging innovations. Featured areas will include propulsion, fleet-performance systems, maintenance, safety, connectivity, cybersecurity, ship repair, vessel design, interior solutions and shipbuilding. For maritime buyers, the event will offer a valuable opportunity to compare promised benefits with the integration requirements, costs and operational constraints examined throughout the conference programme.

Copenhagen provides a fitting backdrop for this broad cross-section of maritime interests, while the venue allows the conference, exhibition and business meetings to take place within a single complex.
