Katerina Monogiou
Member of Parliament for Cyclades, New Democracy

Katerina Monogiou was born and raised on the island of Mykonos. She holds a degree from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Crete and, for ten years, ran a private dietetics practice in Athens. In 2019, she was elected Member of Parliament for the Cyclades with the New Democracy party, receiving 9,812 votes. In 2023, she was re-elected Member of Parliament for the Cyclades with New Democracy, securing 13,494 votes.

In the Hellenic Parliament, she is an active member of key parliamentary committees related to social policy, education, and regional development, including: the Standing Committee on Cultural and Educational Affairs, the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, the Special Standing Committee for Monitoring the Social Security System, the Special Permanent Committee on Regions, the Subcommittee on Island and Mountainous Areas, and the Parliamentary Library Committee.

She serves as Vice President of the Greece–Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group and is a member of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups with the United States of America, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates. With a strong emphasis on social contribution, she has undertaken initiatives aimed at the protection, support, and empowerment of women and vulnerable social groups. In particular, she has focused on supporting individuals with dyslexia, proposing policies and actions designed to improve their quality of life and to raise public awareness of the challenges they face.
