Alfa Laval is proud to announce its participation in World Water Week 2026, the leading global conference on water issues organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). Eline Suijlen, Water Industry & Strategic Partnership Manager at Alfa Laval, has been invited to participate in the panel discussion, Innovative Governance for Sustainable and Equitable Water Use, where she will share the company's perspective on advancing water resilience and accelerating the implementation of water reuse solutions.

Each year, World Water Week brings together more than 13,000 participants from over 180 countries. Governments, businesses, academia, international organizations and civil society gather to address one of the defining challenges of our time. Under the 2026 theme, Water for People and Progress, the conference will explore how stronger governance, greater resilience and practical collaboration can strengthen global water security while supporting the ambitions of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the upcoming UN Water Conference. 

World Water Week is the premier global meeting place for governments and high-level stakeholders working to tackle the growing urgency of water challenges worldwide,” says Eline Suijlen. “It provides a unique opportunity to bring together different perspectives and build the collaborations needed to accelerate progress.”

In addition to the panel discussion, Eline Suijlen will participate in the live talk show Water Resilience as a Business Imperative: Leadership, Collective Action and Inclusive Solutions. Together with Thomas Rebermark, Director of Swedish Water House and Board Member of UN Global Compact Network Sweden, she will discuss how water-related risks increasingly influence business operations, supply chains, investment decisions and long-term competitiveness, and why collaboration between the public and private sectors is essential to building resilient water systems.
