Schulte Marine Concept announced the launching ceremony of 50,000 DWT MR Tanker at Global Shipbuilding (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd.
SMC is delighted to announce the Launching Ceremony of a 50,000 DWT MR Tanker (Hull No. HQ809) under its supervision at Global Shipbuilding (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd., China. This is the first vessel in a series of two vessels ordered by Hong Kong Zhongpeng Freight Co., Ltd.
The vessel will be classed by Lloyd’s Register and built to Hong Kong flag requirements. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for 31 December 2026.
