Responding to the growing needs of the Cypriot economy for specialized personnel, the Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training (MIEEK) of the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth announces the operation of its new program in Larnaca: “Supply Chain Management and Maritime Studies (PSM)”. Registration for the academic year starting this September is now open, with the application deadline set for Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at 12:00 PM (noon).

This innovative, two-year curriculum is fully accredited by CYQAA (DI.PA.E.) and is offered completely tuition-free. Designed with flexibility in mind, classes are held during evening hours (17:00 – 21:00) at the Larnaca Technical School premises, making it ideal for employees, high school graduates, and technical school graduates looking to upgrade their professional skills (upskilling).

One of the program’s greatest advantages is the direct connection of students with the shipping and logistics industry. The curriculum includes compulsory industrial practical training lasting 6 weeks per academic year, taking place at some of the largest maritime, freight forwarding, and 3PL logistics companies based in Larnaca.
