Over 30 senior leaders confirmed as mentors for a dedicated career development session at the UK’s premier utilities conference.

Future of Utilities Summit has announced the return of its Women in Utilities Brunch, taking place on 11 June at QEII Centre, London. Hosted in partnership with the Womens Utilities Network (WUN), the session is designed to give women at every stage of their utilities career direct access to senior mentors, candid conversations, and the kinds of connections that move careers forward.

The hour-long session opens with welcome remarks before moving into an open, mentor-led networking format, giving attendees space to discuss career challenges, seek guidance on industry transitions, or build relationships with peers.

Over 30 senior leaders from across the energy and water sectors have already confirmed their participation, spanning strategy, commercial, engineering, regulation, sustainability, and communications. Confirmed mentors include Director of Development at SSE Thermal, Low Carbon Housing Director at Octopus Energy, Director and Head of Energy Trading Regulation at Centrica, Head of Corporate, UK & Decarbonisation Strategy at National Grid, Global Head of Heavy Industry Decarbonisation at HSBC, amongst many others.

The Women in Utilities Brunch is one of several dedicated sessions running across Future of Utilities Summit’s two-day programme, which brings together over 1,300 energy and water leaders at a defining moment for both sectors. The broader agenda features over 120 speakers tackling clean energy delivery, water infrastructure investment, AI and digital transformation, grid capacity, and customer vulnerability.
