The Hellenic Maritime Purchasing (HMP) Club has reached a significant milestone with the conclusion of its first-ever elections. Held at the Cosmos Nautical Training Centre’s lecture hall, the event marked the formal appointment of the Club’s founding Board of Directors.

Following the vote and the subsequent convening of the elected officials, the leadership structure for the HMP Club has been officially established. Marios Bougioukas will lead the organisation as President, supported by Markos Aspiotis as Vice President.

The full composition of the new Board of Directors is as follows:

• President: Marios Bougioukas

• Vice President: Markos Aspiotis

• General Secretary: Nikolaos Mazarakis

• Treasurer: Eleni Sakka

• Board Member (Head of Scientific Affairs): Theodoros Kouvelis

• Board Member (Head of Administrative Affairs): Konstantinos Topakas

• Board Member (Head of Marketing): Ifigenia Saliverou

• Alternate Member: Aggeliki Vlami

In a joint statement, the President and the members of the newly formed Board expressed their sincere gratitude to the HMP Club’s founding members for their steadfast support. They also extended their appreciation to the Electoral Committee for ensuring a smooth and successful transition into this new chapter of the Club’s history.

The formation of this Board represents a formalised step forward for the HMP Club as it seeks to strengthen its presence and influence within the maritime purchasing sector.
