Next-generation air lubrication provider Armada Technologies has appointed Richard Tyrrell, former CoolCo CEO and current Advisor for Eastern Pacific Shipping , as Chairman of its Board of Directors .

Richard brings extensive leadership experience across the global maritime industry, with deep sector expertise in LNG shipping, capital markets, principal investing and mergers and acquisitions. He has a strong track record in scaling growth companies, including leading the successful spin-off and IPO of two NYSE-listed companies.

His appointment will support Armada’s next stage of growth by providing strategic oversight, ensure strong corporate governance and guide long-term company performance. He brings a clear focus on ESG principles and responsible business practices that support Armada’s emphasis on accountability and operational performance.

The BOD will continue to work alongside Alex Routledge, CEO of Armada Technologies, to execute the company’s strategy and expand its global footprint.
