Valmet is to deliver an energy balance optimizer digital solution to Energie AG Umwelt Service’s waste treatment facility in Wels, Austria, enabling the company to dynamically balance energy production and consumption in response to market fluctuations. The solution will be seamlessly integrated with the company’s existing Valmet Distributed Control System  and connected to the energy management system . The mission-critical solution enables the company to respond flexibly and reliably to electricity market while enhancing the efficiency of district heat production.
