Humphree and Propspeed establish strategic partnership to protect performance and enable more days at sea

Humphree® and Propspeed® have announced a strategic partnership built on shared values of performance and protection, with Humphree endorsing the use of Foulfree™ Multi-Surface System on its industry-leading fins and interceptors.
The collaboration is focused on protecting stabilization capabilities below the waterline while preserving efficiency, reliability and overall integrity. By endorsing the application of Propspeed’s biocide-free foul-release coating on Humphree’s advanced stabilization technology, the collaboration supports consistent performance and protection of critical underwater components operating in demanding marine environments.
By preventing marine growth accumulation on fins and interceptors, Foulfree Multi-Surface helps ensure Humphree’s stabilization systems can perform at their ultimate in every sea state – operating as designed, with consistent handling and improved fuel efficiency throughout the season, while reducing the need for in-water cleaning and maintenance.
“Foulfree Multi-Surface provides a solution that supports efficiency without compromising handling, and we’re confident our customers will appreciate the benefits it brings to their stabilization equipment,” said Johan Cavefors, Director Sales Marine Professional, Humphree.
“We’re proud of the continued evolution of our foul-release coatings,” said Marcus Hamilton, CEO, Propspeed. “Working alongside leading manufacturers like Humphree reinforces our mission to protect performance below the waterline. Foulfree Multi-Surface is designed to shield all Humphree fins and interceptor product lines without compromise, providing efficient operation throughout the season while preserving OEM engineering aesthetics, through a clear, non-invasive coating system.”
This partnership aligns with Propspeed’s broader approach of working alongside technically aligned industry partners who share a focus on quality, performance and responsible marine practices. It builds on existing affiliations with Cranchi Yachts and Camber Marine, reinforcing a collective commitment to guarding underwater assets across both new build and refit applications using Humphree’s product line.
