In a direct response to the heightened risk levels, CMA CGM has issued instructions to its fleet that will fundamentally alter trade patterns between Europe, Asia, and the Persian Gulf. The primary measures include:

• Instruction to Shelter: All vessels currently within the Gulf or inbound to the region have been ordered to proceed to safe shelter with immediate effect.

• Suez Canal Suspension: Transit through the Suez Canal is officially suspended until further notice.
