The International Electric Maritime Association (IEMA) has partnered with Asia Pacific Maritime (APM), Asia’s leading exhibition and conference for shipbuilding, workboats, offshore, port technology, and electric & hybrid marine solutions. APM 2026 will take place in Singapore from March 25–27, 2026 and is set to be the show’s largest edition to date, bringing together more than 700 exhibitors and nearly 100 global speakers from across the international maritime ecosystem.

As one of the world’s most important maritime hubs, Singapore sits at the intersection of global shipping, regional trade, and rapidly evolving port and inland vessel operations. Through its participation at APM 2026, IEMA aims to strengthen connections between international technology providers and Asian maritime stakeholders, and to support the region’s transition toward electric and hybrid propulsion.

A central highlight of APM 2026 is the introduction of a dedicated Electric & Hybrid Power program. IEMA President Adria Jover will represent the association as a featured expert in APM’s new Electric & Hybrid Power Consultation Lounge, offering guidance to shipowners, operators, ports, and authorities beginning or advancing their decarbonisation roadmaps.

Alongside IEMA, the lounge will feature expertise from the Maritime Battery Forum, ZESTAs (Zero Emission Ship Technology Association), and CharIN (Charging Interface Initiative) to provide neutral, technology-agnostic insight across four core pillars:

• High-Power Charging in E-Mobility

• Maritime Battery Technologies

• Next-Generation Electric Marine Solutions

• Zero-Emission Shipping Pathways

APM’s Power Stage will dedicate two full days to sessions addressing global electrification trends, lessons learned from leading projects, and practical steps toward scalable net-zero strategies for commercial and inland vessels. The program aligns closely with the themes highlighted in APM’s latest white paper, “Changing Course: Powering the Future of Vessel Operations.”

Visitors can explore the Electric & Hybrid Innovation Showcase, highlighting advances in propulsion, charging infrastructure, energy storage, onboard power systems, alternative fuels, and efficiency technologies.
