The Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion has recognised Wärtsilä’s Vice President, Investor Relations, Hanna-Maria Heikkinen as Investor Relations Director of the year 2025 in Finland. This is the second time she has received the award, which celebrates best practices in the capital markets. According to the jury – comprising of leading influencers in the investment sector – Heikkinen stands out as in a league of her own and serves as an excellent role model for everyone working in investor relations.

“Hanna-Maria Heikkinen manages investor relations with courage and proactiveness and is continuously renewing ways of working. As a result, Wärtsilä’s investor communication is first-class and equal for all investors,” the jury noted.

During her more than four years at Wärtsilä, Heikkinen has modernised the company’s investor communication to be open and diverse by expanding engagement opportunities for all investors and analysts around the world. Through her work, she supports Wärtsilä’s strategy to shape the decarbonisation of the marine and energy industries.
