Cetasol has now signed a long term framework agreement with Aesen to implement iHelm across the entire fleet of 120 vessels. This marks an important step for maritime sustainability, a dedication from both companies.

The collaboration, which began in 2024, has evolved into a strategic alliance. Under the new non-binding agreement, the first phase of the roll-out will commence in 2026, with the remainder of the fleet following in the coming years.

For Aesen’s specialized operations—ranging from high-speed Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) to heavy-duty logistics vessels—iHelm introduces the Cetafuel virtual mass flow meter, enabling precise fuel monitoring without the need for expensive hardware installations. Furthermore, the integration of MRU sensors and onboard cameras enhances motion planning, allowing for safer and more efficient navigation in demanding maritime environments. By combining these advanced features, iHelm provides the critical toolset needed to optimize fuel efficiency and sustainability while ensuring the high reliability required for offshore and nearshore missions. iHelm will be integrated and support value for both diesel and hybrid vessels.
