Background and Industry exposure : Marine Chief Engineer over 12 years of sailing experience onboard large container vessels and over 12 years of Ship management experience in MSC Shipmanagement Limited, CyprusPresent Rank in company: Deputy General Manager- Vessel Retrofits and Upgrades, Fleet Performance and Designated Data Protection officer.

Role in the company : In-charge of all retrofits & upgrade projects for vessels managed by MSC Shipmanagement Limited Cyprus , focused on improving vessel and fleet energy efficiency. These projects are capital disciplined that protect asset value , ensure regulatory readiness, and are aimed at achieving company’s sustainable decarbonization goals. Over 12 years of management experience and 12 years of sailing experience onboard large container vessels.

As company’s Data Protection Office [ DPO], I oversee MSC Shipmanagement Limited , Cyprus data protection strategy, ensuring compliance with laws like GDPR by informing and training staff, monitoring data processing,  and acting as a contact point for individuals and regulatory authorities.

 Additional responsibility: Chairman Marine committee , Cyprus Shipping Chamber

• Various technical regulation issued by Shipping Deputy Ministry
• Following various discussions at International Shipping Chamber
• To follow works of the European Community Shipowners’ Association (ECSA) Safety and Environment Committee.
• Various circulars issued by IMO Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) and the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC)
