SpecTec strengthens Asia-Pacific operations with key appointments in Singapore

SpecTec, a market leading maritime technology company, has appointed two senior professionals to its team in Singapore, reinforcing its commitment to growth, customer partnership and long-term investment in the region. The appointments support SpecTec’s strategic focus on expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific, with Singapore continuing to serve as a central hub for regional and global maritime operations.
As part of this expansion, Steve Yeoh has been appointed APAC Sales and Partner Manager, based in Singapore. In this role, Steve is responsible for developing SpecTec’s partner ecosystem and strengthening customer engagement across the Asia-Pacific region. With a strong background in maritime technology and commercial operations, Steve will focus on delivering tailored solutions that respond to the evolving needs of shipowners, managers and operators in the region.
In addition, SpecTec has appointed Hailey How as Finance Manager, also based in Singapore. Hailey brings extensive experience in financial operations, cost control and vendor management, and will play a key role in strengthening financial governance while supporting strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency across the region.
SpecTec has been present in Singapore for more than 20 years, and Asia-Pacific has long been a strategically important region for the business. These appointments mark a renewed focus on building a strong, locally-based team that is deeply connected to SpecTec’s customers and partners.

Commenting on the appointments, Adam Dennett, CEO, SpecTec, said: “Asia-Pacific is a strategically important market for SpecTec, and building a strong, locally-based commercial team is essential. We are pleased to welcome Steve and Hailey to the team and are confident their experience and expertise will be a great asset to us as we continue to grow as a company and invest in long-term success.
“We believe in long-term partnerships and human connection, and in being close to the markets we serve. Singapore remains a key hub for us, and we will continue to invest in expanding our local capabilities and support resources as we grow across Asia-Pacific.”
Sas Huntwood, Chief Commercial Officer, SpecTec, added: “These appointments will help us strengthen our presence in the region and work more closely with our customers to deliver solutions that align with their needs. By expanding our local team with experienced professionals, we are well positioned to support customers across Asia-Pacific while contributing to the region’s ongoing digital transformation.”
