Nauticworx, the pioneering digital platform for offshore workboat chartering, announces major updates. Incorporating feedback from the market since its inception in September 2024, the platform has not only attracted large fleets and projects, but has now also become faster, and easier to use. In addition, charterers can now – costless – join and enjoy the full benefits of the platform. With this step, Nauticworx aims to enhance the platform’s practical value: find available workboats on short notice and within a short distance, thereby reducing the carbon footprint of offshore (wind), and marine construction projects, and stimulating local economies.

Launched at SMM Hamburg last year, Nauticworx was created to tackle one of the offshore industry’s longstanding inefficiencies: fragmented vessel chartering. By enabling seamless collaboration between fleet owners, charterers, and brokers through a smart matchmaking system, the platform simplifies the spot chartering process while operating on a transparent subscription model.

The scale-up has devised an algorithm to connect offshore support vessels with projects located within 800 nautical miles, anywhere in the world, reducing transit distances, fuel consumption, and emissions. With this, Nauticworx aims to make operational efficiency and sustainability part of the same solution.

By removing the cost barrier for charterers, Nauticworx aims to significantly increase platform engagement and accelerate the pace of digital adoption across the sector. The implications are clear:
