Auramarine, the world’s leading fuel system expert for the marine industry, has signed an agreement with Blue Chain, a Korean sales and service engineering agent, for the initiation of a new strategic collaboration.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in Auramarine’s growth strategy in Asia by enhancing customer support and expanding market reach across the Korean market. By joining forces with a local partner, Auramarine aims to provide faster response times, tailored technical support, and comprehensive service solutions to meet the evolving needs of shipowners and operators in the region. The collaboration will focus on supporting both existing and new customers throughout the lifecycle of their systems, from initial sales consultation to after-sales service and ongoing technical support.

Korea is an important shipbuilding market not just for Auramarine but for the industry more widely as well. The latest Clarksons Global Shipbuilding Review reported that in 2024, South Korea’s shipyard output increased by 22% and it achieved a 28% market share by Compensated Gross Tonnage (CGT). As the industry continues to invest in new technologies, Korea will remain a hotbed for innovation, producing best-in-class vessels at scale.
