RH Marine and Naval Group sign contract to strengthen cooperation within the Submarine Replacement Programme

RH Marine and Naval Group have signed a contract as part of their collaboration within the Replacement Netherlands Submarine Capability (RNSC) programme for the Royal Netherlands Navy. The ceremonial signing marks a significant milestone in the Industrial Cooperation Agreement (ICA) that underpins the programme.
The ceremony was attended by senior representatives of both companies and the Dutch government, highlighting the shared commitment to deliver advanced and reliable technologies for the future Dutch submarine fleet.
Expertise in platform automation, power distribution and integrated system solutions
As part of the agreement, RH Marine will contribute its expertise in platform automation, power distribution and integrated system solutions. With a proven track record of decades of cooperation with the Royal Netherlands Navy, RH Marine is proud to play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and long-term support for the new class of submarines.
“This contract not only strengthens our partnership with Naval Group, but also reflects our joint ambition to support the Royal Netherlands Navy with innovative and future-proof solutions,” said Koen Staffeleu, Business Unit General Manager Naval, RH Marine. “It confirms RH Marine’s role as a trusted partner within the Dutch naval ecosystem.”
Naval Group welcomes the collaboration, underlining the importance of Dutch industrial participation: “RH Marine is a key partner for us in Team Orka. We highly value the expertise, innovation and submarine experience of RH Marine and look forward to work together to deliver a state-of-the-art capability to the Royal Netherlands Navy” said Mark Donderwinkel, Country Director, Naval Group NL.
The Industrial Cooperation Agreement ensures that Dutch industry and knowledge institutes are closely involved in the RNSC programme, reinforcing the national maritime cluster and safeguarding strategic capabilities for the future.
