The new connection enables automatic transfer of noon reporting data from StormGeo’s s-Insight solution into Closelink’s digital procurement platform, giving shipping companies greater visibility and control over lubricant inventory and planning.

The integration addresses a common challenge in maritime operations: the gap between onboard stock data and onshore procurement processes. The solution leverages StormGeo’s ship-to-shore reporting system, installed on over 5,000 vessels worldwide, to capture and validate Remaining-On-Board (ROB) data through more than 1,500 vessel-specific plausibility checks. Validated data is automatically transmitted into Closelink, where it is used to trigger alerts, and optimise planning and ordering. Separate manual reporting is no longer required, allowing procurement teams to work with up-to-date information and streamline day-to-day operations.
