
The top golf event of the maritime industry returns once again, offering a unique blend of sports and business on a world-class course. Glyfada Greek Maritime Golf Event will take place at the iconic Glyfada Golf Course on Friday, September 5, 2025, promising a day filled with energy and competition.
This year’s tournament is expected, once again, to attract top executives of the Greek and international maritime industry, entrepreneurs, representatives of institutions and organizations, as well as golf enthusiastseager to enjoy a unique experience of this great Olympic sport. At the same time, it opens its doors to new friends of the game, giving everyone the opportunity to discover the enchanting world of golf in a welcoming yet professional environment.

The course is set out over 18 holes, each with different levels of difficulty, offering an ideal combination of strategic challenge and natural beauty. With holes that demand precision and thoughtful play, while showcasing the charm of the surrounding landscape, it provides an enjoyable experience for both advanced players and those new to the sport.
At the same time, golf offers numerous benefits for the body and mind. It promotes physical activity in a gentle yet effective way, helps reduce stress, boosts mental well-being, and provides a sense of calm and renewal that only being in nature can offer.
This Year’s Schedule
On Friday, September 5, 2025, participants will start the day with registration, preparing for their participation in the tournament. Scramble competition will then begin, bringing exciting action to one of the Greece’s most historic golf courses.
Visitors who do not compete will have the opportunity to attend golf lessons, learning the basic secrets of the sport in a friendly and guided environment.

After the competition, everyone can relax and take part in networking activities, while the day will conclude with the official awards ceremony, giving attendees the chance to meet this year’s champions and winners.
The tournament will be played in teams of four, using the 4-ball Scramble format where the two best scores per hole are recorded. Each player’s handicap will be calculated at ¾ according to international rules. This format provides a fun and fast-paced experience, suitable for players of all levels, while encouraging teamwork and strategic play.

The tournament will recognize the teams that finish in the top three positions overall, with awards highlighting their outstanding performance. In addition, special prizes will be awarded to the players with the best results in the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin categories, acknowledging their skill and precision.
