Speaking from the keynote stage at Soracom Discovery 2025, Soracom CEO and Co-Founder Ken Tamagawa reflected on 10 years of growth as he announced the company’s new global mantra: “Making Things Happen, For A World That Works Together.”

Soracom was founded in 2015 by a small, entrepreneurial team with deep experience in cloud services and telecommunications. In its early years, the company focused on the IoT connectivity needs of technically sophisticated innovators and startups with cloud-native, pay-as-you go services designed to support accelerated release cycles without long-term commitments.
