This visit follows Ms. Hadjimanolis’ official visit to Egypt in October 2024, during which she visited AASTMT’s facilities in Alexandria and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation in maritime education, research, technology, and innovation between the two parties.
During the meeting in Limassol, a constructive and substantive dialogue took place, focusing on issues of mutual interest and future ventures aimed at enhancing maritime education and professional training of seafarers.
The Shipping Deputy Minister also extended an invitation to the President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, to participate in the upcoming Conference “Maritime Cyprus 2025,” which he gladly accepted.
