Vestdavit has marked a significant company milestone with the signing of its biggest sales contract yet, delivering cutting edge davit systems to leading global shipbuilder Damen Naval. This landmark agreement covers delivery of four confirmed vessel sets.

The Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate (ASWF) is a project of the Royal Netherlands Navy  and Belgian Navy to replace the existing Multipurpose- or M-frigates.

This collaborative naval program will see the construction of four next-generation frigates two for each nation designed to enhance anti-submarine warfare capabilities in the region. The Netherlands is leading the project, with Damen Naval serving as the main shipbuilder.

The role given to Vestdavit to provide a state-of-the-art davit system demands that these vessels will be equipped with robust, reliable, and safe boat-handling davits, reinforcing the operational readiness and versatility of these future naval assets.
