With over 20 years of international maritime experience, Aashish brings a unique blend of operational expertise and strategic insight into digital transformation and crew development.

Prior to joining Maritime Trainer, he held several senior leadership roles, including Global Director of Strategic Partnerships at a UK-based maritime oil & gas company and Chief Operating Officer at a Swedish e-learning SaaS provider. A licensed Chief Engineer, Aashish also possesses deep sea-going experience, making him well-versed in the challenges and needs of modern maritime operations.

A significant part of his career was spent at Maersk, the world’s largest shipping company, where he held pivotal roles such as Head of Crewing and Head of Talent & Development. In these positions, he managed operations for 130 vessels and spearheaded global training programs for over 15,000 seafarers across 375 ships—overseeing an annual training budget of $10 million.
