The International Council of Marine Industry Associations, ICOMIA, is delighted to welcome Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition  as a Sustaining Member.

IM Sinoexpo is the first joint venture exhibition company in China, founded in 1998 by Informa PLC and Shanghai Sinoexpo International Exhibition .

Headquartered in Shanghai, IM Sinoexpo consists of two wholly owned subsidiaries: Shanghai IMsinoexpo Digital Services Co., Ltd, and China International Exhibitions Ltd. In addition to branches located in Beijing and Guangzhou, IM Sinoexpo owns two joint venture companies namely, Guzhen Lighting Expo Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Bohong International Exhibition Co., Ltd.

By 2024, IM Sinoexpo’s annual total rental area reached 1.8 million square metres, creating multiple trading opportunities for a million buyers from around the world. Its online business includes eight B2B portals, two B2P sourcing mini-programmes and one app.

The China (Shanghai) International Boat Show (CIBS) is IM Sinoexpo’s flagship exhibition event, showcasing the entire value chain of the boating industry in Asia. Established in 1996, CIBS is today, the longest-running boat show in China, exhibiting boats, marine equipment & accessories, boat services and water sports etc.  CIBS aims to be the foremost business platform for the boat industry in Asia and globally, providing professional buyers from around the world with the most comprehensive and cost-effective full range of boat and boat equipment across the entire boat industry.
