S&P reported: “Despite a challenging year for the marine insurance sector, Skuld delivered a solid investment return of 7.3% and maintained a sound three-year average combined ratio of 99.2%. S&P expects Skuld to restore capital adequacy to its 99.99% confidence level and improve underwriting results to a sustainable range of 100%-105% within the next 12–24 months.”
