Mintra named one of the UK’s best paces to work for the second consecutive year

For the second year, Mintra is proud to announce its inclusion in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025, powered by WorkL. Recognised in the Medium Organisation category, the award celebrates Mintra’s continued dedication to creating an empowering, inclusive and positive workplace culture.
Selected from more than 70,000 entries nationwide, Mintra’s recognition highlights its dedication to employee wellbeing, job satisfaction and continuous organisational improvement. The Best Places to Work survey evaluates companies using 26 employee engagement questions across six key areas: Empowerment, Wellbeing, Job Satisfaction, Pride, Information Sharing, and Reward & Recognition.

Mintra’s scores improved across key areas as it built on the feedback and momentum from its 2024 recognition.
“We want to thank all of our people for what we’ve achieved together,” said Amy Reid, Global People and Culture Director at Mintra. “It’s fantastic to be recognised once again. It’s a true reflection of the passion, talent and collaboration that runs through every part of our organisation. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Without them, none of this would be possible.”

Kevin Short, CEO of Mintra, added, “I’m incredibly proud of this achievement and the people behind it. Being recognised two years in a row is excellent. It’s a testament to the dedication, resilience and hard work of every single person at Mintra. Our success is built on the strength of our team and it’s inspiring to see how they continue to push boundaries, support one another and drive Mintra forward.”
Mintra’s People Strategy, introduced in 2022, is now delivering strong results. Reward and Recognition scores rose by 3% to 79% in 2025, supported by initiatives such as employee appreciation days, peer recognition spotlights and open celebration of individual successes during monthly team talks. Mintra’s hybrid working model, supported with wellbeing initiatives, regular check-ins and team events, continues to strengthen cross-functional relationships, and collaboration throughout the globe.
Wellbeing remains a top priority, with Mintra scoring 79% in this category. Support is increasingly holistic and includes trained mental health first aiders, online yoga, excellent BUPA health and dental coverage and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme. The People and Culture team also offer employees access to workshops for support around mental health, financial planning, pensions and more.
Empowerment and Job Satisfaction both rose from 77% to 80%, reflecting Mintra’s continued investment in developing its people and delivered through Mintra’s learning and competency management system – Trainingportal.
The Job Satisfaction score demonstrates the pride the team shows and that employees continue to be challenged and enjoy their work in a meaningful way. Innovation and ‘We explore’ remain central to Mintra’s core values and employees have benefited from a continued investment in product development, quality and focus on service delivery.
Kevin Short, CEO, commented, “As a business that is focused on growth and acquisition, our success is highly dependent on having the right people in place to support our ambitious goals. The people-first culture and improvement in scores across the board speak volumes about the resilience and talent of the team, a team that is helping drive Mintra forward while delivering an excellent service to our customers.”
Confidence in Management has risen by 3% to 79%, and Information Sharing is up 4% on last year, with monthly global team talks including business updates, people news and opportunities for employees to present and ask questions, reinforcing Mintra’s’open and collaborative’ core value.”
Mintra’s highest score was in Instilling Pride,
averaging 81%. This denotes a strong sense of achievement, shared purpose and reinforces the ‘with pride’ value that lies at the heart of Mintra’s culture, with employees consistently going above and beyond in pursuit of delivering outstanding results every day.
“Our inclusion in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for the second consecutive year reflects the passion and resilience of our team,” Reid added. “As we continue to grow, adapt and innovate, we remain committed to building a workplace where everyone feels heard, supported and inspired to do their best work.”
