CMA D. ARGOUDELIS & CO S.A. announced that it has been awarded the Silver Badge for Marine Litter Clean-Up Commitment by HELMEPA (Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association), in recognition of its voluntary participation in the Experiential Marine Cleanup action at Votsalakia Beach.

This initiative, held in December 2024, brought together CMA’s team in a meaningful effort to protect our coastline and contribute to a cleaner, healthier marine environment. As a corporate supporter of HELMEPA, CMA remains committed to initiatives that go beyond business—focusing on environmental sustainability, community well-being, and collective action.

Our participation in HELMEPA’s beach clean-up campaign was not only a contribution to environmental protection, but also a heartfelt opportunity to connect as a team, spend a beautiful day by the sea, and feel the joy of giving back. Every small act counts—and together, we made a difference.

For over four decades, HELMEPA has been at the forefront of marine litter clean-up campaigns in Greece. Their pioneering citizen science-based program, active since 1991, focuses on the monitoring, data collection, and classification of marine litter to understand and address its sources. HELMEPA empowers citizens and members to take proactive steps in improving the health of our seas, and we are honored to stand beside them in this mission.
