UAB-Online, a leading software innovator whose digital platform enhances liquid bulk operational efficiency, has been honoured with the Digital Transformation Award at the 8th edition of the Tank Storage Awards. The award is given to the software, service, or model that is currently succeeding in optimising, streamlining, or improving the storage terminal industry, bringing it into the 21st century.

Winning the Digital Transformation Award recognises UAB-Online’s success in optimising, streamlining, and modernising liquid bulk terminal operations. The award, handed over by a member of the international judging panel, Peter Savage, HSEQ Manager at Aquarius Energy, was presented during a prestigious ceremony and gala dinner at Schiecentrale, Rotterdam, held in conjunction with the StocExpo conference.

This marks the first time UAB-Online has received this accolade, underscoring its commitment to driving innovation in the maritime liquid bulk sector. The award was accepted by CEO Hans Bobeldijk, who expressed gratitude for the recognition:

The Tank Storage Awards are judged by an international panel of 39 industry experts, all of whom hold C-level positions at major companies across the maritime industry. In addition to receiving the Digital Transformation Award, Hans Bobeldijk also took the stage to hand over the “Terminal of the Future” award to eFuels Rotterdam, a project collaboration between Power2X and Advario, recognising their forward-thinking in energy transition and working towards reaching net zero.
