Advanced Polymer Coatings, the Ohio, USA-based manufacturer of protective tank coatings for chemical and product tankers,  announced the appointment of a dynamic new Global Technical Services Manager.

As APC’s business expands globally, Daniel Liu will work with the company’s senior leadership, regional managers, and industry partners to drive innovation, ensure consistency in technical practices, and uphold APC’s high standards around the world.

“Daniel brings deep technical knowledge and the ability to build strong relationships and solve tough problems,” said Captain Onur Yildirim, APC Global Marine Manager.

“I’m confident that with Daniel leading our technical services worldwide, we’ll keep pushing our higher standards and delivering the excellence APC is known for.”

Daniel Liu has enjoyed an 18-year career with APC and was most recently the company’s Technical Services Manager for East Asia and Western Pacific Region.

“Daniel’s appointment reflects his strong leadership, unwavering commitment to excellence and incredible contributions to APC over many years,” said Captain Yildirim.

“His focus on quality with a no-compromise attitude transformed APC’s inspection team in China into one of the most respected in the industry. He holds himself and his team to the highest standards, and that has made a huge difference not just for APC but for the reputation we’ve built in the industry.”

APC is growing rapidly and will quadruple its manufacturing capacity with a new state-of-the-art automated manufacturing system.

In 2024, the company announced it was expanding its business in Asia in response to a surge in demand for its advanced products with a focus on strengthening sales of its MarineLINE^®protective cargo tank coating across the region.
