Ubiqconn Technology announces strategic acquisition of E3 displays to strengthen North America presence and expand display solutions portfolio

Ubiqconn Technology, a global leader in rugged mobile computing solutions, announced the acquisition of E3 Displays, a premier provider of high-performance display solutions based in Phoenix, Arizona. This strategic acquisition strengthens Ubiqconn’s footprint in North America and enhances its capabilities in advanced optical bonding and display technology, positioning the combined companies for growth in key industries, including defense, medical, industrial, and transportation.
Under the agreement, E3 Displays will continue to operate independently as the primary entity, maintaining its current operations, brand identity, and customer relationships while benefiting from Ubiqconn’s global resources and technological expertise. This structure ensures continuity for customers and partners while accelerating innovation and market expansion.
“This acquisition marks a major milestone in our growth strategy,” said Tim Tsai, CEO of Ubiqconn Technology (USA) Inc. “E3 Displays’ expertise in rugged and high-performance displays perfectly complements our portfolio, allowing us to provide more comprehensive solutions to our customers. Together, we are well-positioned to drive innovation and expand into new markets.”
E3 Displays has built a strong reputation for its cutting-edge optical bonding processes, durability-focused display solutions, and extensive certifications for military, avionics, and medical applications. The acquisition enables Ubiqconn to integrate these advanced technologies into its rugged computing solutions, creating a unique and differentiated offering for mission-critical applications.
“We are excited to join forces with Ubiqconn while retaining our independence and commitment to our customers,” said Chuck Rahrig, President of E3 Displays. “This partnership allows us to accelerate product innovation, expand our reach, and strengthen our position as a leader in high-performance display solutions.”
The integration process will focus on leveraging synergies between the two companies’ product portfolios, aligning R&D efforts, and optimizing sales and marketing strategies. Customers can expect continued support, enhanced product offerings, and new technological innovations resulting from the collaboration.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
