Partnership expands Marlink’s reach across all markets with expertise and solutions to secure and optimise customers’ remote operations globally

 Marlink, a leader in managed services for business-critical IT solutions, is strengthening its collaboration with cybersecurity provider Fortinet, which also named Marlink Managed Services Partner of the year for Norway.

The relationship covers network optimisation using software defined networks (SD-WAN) and cyber security solutions provided to Marlink customers across maritime, energy and humanitarian markets, protecting data and networks in remote and challenging locations while safeguarding their digital transformation.

The collaboration creates significant benefits for Marlink customers, including:

Fortinet and Marlink have pursued their co-operation as a strategic partnership for many years, as Marlink’s portfolio of managed services has expanded swiftly. With demand for cyber security solutions growing rapidly, Marlink is leveraging its deep knowledge and expertise in the maritime market, and its capability to integrate secure connectivity with network orchestration and cyber resilience.

One of the few solutions providers operate a security operations centre (SOC) originally built for maritime customers, and Marlink today also supports users in offshore energy and humanitarian sectors with complex networks requiring dedicated security services.

Marlink was recently named Fortinet Managed Service Partner (MSP) of the Year for the second year running. The award is made to a partner which demonstrates expertise and acts as trusted advisor, helping customers secure and protect their networks in the ever-evolving threat landscape.
