Formerly Head of Technology and Logistics at P&O Maritime Logistics, Mr Vedat has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the field of technology and logistics. At P&OML he was responsible for overseeing technology and logistics operations, driving technological advancements, and ensuring smooth IT operations within the organisation.

Discussing the future of digitalisation and his plans in his new role, Mr Vedat commented: “We have to learn from the advances made in digitalisation within the aviation industry by SITA. Everyone in maritime should be sharing data collectively, which should become a reality soon as new regulations lead to a shift towards data standardisation, as seen in other transport industries.
